Royal Challengers Bengaluru Players’ Performance in ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is over and the semi-finalists of the tournament have been decided. Teams from India, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand have managed to make it to the knockouts. Many big stars of the IPL teams are also playing for their respective teams in this tournament.
Many star players of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were a part of this tournament, but there was not much good news for the fans of the team in terms of performance. Apart from Kohli, the rest of the RCB players flopped badly in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Let’s know how the RCB star players performed in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Know how RCB’s star players performed in the group stage of ICC Champions Trophy 2025
1. Virat Kohli (India)

Indian batsman Virat Kohli once again proved why he is called a big match player. Kohli scored 133 runs in three matches and his average was 44.3. After scoring 22 runs against Bangladesh in the first match, he played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs against Pakistan.
However, in the last league match against New Zealand, he fell prey to a brilliant catch by Glenn Phillips. This form of Virat can prove to be a big relief for RCB in the upcoming IPL season.
2. Phil Salt (England)

This tournament was nothing less than a nightmare for England’s aggressive opening batsman Phil Salt. He scored just 30 runs in three matches and his average was 10. Despite playing on flat Pakistani pitches, Salt’s performance is a big shock for RCB fans.
Salt’s form could cause problems for RCB in the upcoming IPL 2025 season. The team was expecting a fast start from him, but this performance is a matter of concern.
3. Liam Livingstone (England)

England’s all-rounder Liam Livingstone also completely flopped in the group stage. He scored only 33 runs in three matches and his average was 11. Livingstone was expected to play big innings for England in the middle order, but he was seen struggling continuously.
This poor form of Livingstone is a big setback for RCB. The franchise had included him in the team as a finisher, but his performance like this can affect the team’s strategy.
Apart from Virat Kohli, the rest of the RCB players flopped badly in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The form of big names like Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone has shaken the team’s hopes. Before the start of IPL 2025, RCB fans will hope that these players regain their form.
