Ranji Trophy 2024 is getting a lot of attention nationwide due to some players being surprised by their performances or appearances. It has been 10 days since the first match of the Ranji Trophy 2024 was played between Hyderabad and in just 10 days the tournament has captured the audience with its happening nature and some highlights related to players who can attract audience wherever they play. Veteran Indian test batter Cheteswar Pujara made his comeback in the Ranji trophy with a banger 243* in his first game and these runs became more interesting after he was dropped from the Indian men’s test team. He is leading the scoreboard with 335 runs in just two games which is a treat for the eyes. In the first game against Jharkhand Cheteswar Pujara scored an unbeaten 243 runs with 356 balls in this inning Pujara collected 30 boundaries. 

Recently after India’s loss in the first test against South Africa, there was a chat going on Pujara’s drop in test and going for youngsters, in the second game again Indian batting got exposed in front of South African bowlers. After all this Cheteswar Pujara’s knock has drawn the attention of selectors and if he continues doing what he is known for he could get the chance for another three test matches against England.

Legendary seamer Bhuvneswar Kumar played his last international game in November 2022 which was a T20I against New Zealand where he went wicketless after that, he got dropped from the Indian team and still seeking a chance and in the first game of the Ranji trophy he announced his comeback with a solid performance of 8/41. He is making his comeback in red-ball cricket after one year and taking eight wickets in the first inning has knocked on the door of BCCI selectors. Due to his brilliant performance, Bhuvi is trending on social media and his fans are delighted to watch him bowl after so long. Bhuvneshwar Kumar played his last test match in 2018 against South Africa at Johannesburg where he was the player of the match due to all-round performance.

Riyan Parag was facing a bundle of criticism and trolling after his poor performance in the IPL 2023 for Rajasthan Royals but he soon recovered his fanbase after scoring two brilliant centuries in the IPL 2024 and made a strong statement to the critics and haters. His record-breaking inning of 155 gives him a lot of confidence and following that inning, he scored another 116 runs in the ongoing game against Kerala. He is seeking chances in the Indian team but for that, he has to impress the board in the IPL.

Captain of Maharastra Kedar Jadhav is one of the forgotten players who has become the headline after many years by scoring a fabulous century in the Ranji Trophy game against Jharkhand. He has scored 182 runs in 216 balls with 21 boundaries and five sixes following a half-century in the first game against Manipur. He played his last international game four years ago in 2020 against New Zealand, later he was dropped from the IPL and he also got unsold in the IPL auction 2023. Kedar is an unorthodox batter but the way he has batted in the last two innings of the Ranji Trophy, he has proved his ability.

Right-handed batter Manish Pandey is going through a downfall in his career but he has redefined his domestic career with a century in the Ranji trophy game. He has made a marvelous comeback in the tournament with a century for Karnataka against Punjab. He scored 118 runs in 165 balls with 13 fours and 3 sixes. His performance will surely give some relaxation to KKR who bought Manish Pandey at his base prize. Following his century he scored another 88 runs in the next game against Gujrat which shows that he is back in his old form and will look for a big season.
