The rain-abbreviated game was reduced to 14 overs per team courtesy of the Duckworth-Lewis (D/L) rule. RCB batted first and reached 95 runs, once again due to Tim David’s rapid 50 from a cluster of big hits. It wasn’t enough, and Punjab Kings chased down a target of 96 with ease. Patidar’s achievement became the highlight of the match despite RCB’s loss.
