
On Sunday, India defeated England by seven wickets at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom to win the inaugural ICC Women’s Cricket Championship. In a superb bowling effort, India’s Shafali Verma, Mannat Kashyap, and Sonam Yadav each grabbed one wicket.
President Droupadi Murmu tweeted, “Congratulations to Team India for winning the inaugural Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup for Cricket! These talented young girls put up outstanding performance.
