The Indian Women’s Cricket Team is currently on a tour in South Africa, playing in a 5 game series for T20 cricket. The first three games have been disappointments for the Indian Team; they have lost all three decisively.
The only redeeming performance from the first three games was by Captain Harmanpreet Kaur in the Indian Women’s Third T20 match at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, where she scored an incredible 66 runs, reaching a milestone in her personal career.
In the match itself, the Indian Team made a total of 192 runs in their innings of 20 overs, and South Africa chased down the target successfully in just 16.3 overs, losing 1 wicket.

Team India Must Select Its Best Playing XI Ahead of the World Cup
This has become a matter of concern for the Indian women’s team ahead of the T20 World Cup. The Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to commence in England on June 12th, and consequently, Team India has very little time left to consolidate its preparations.
The performance of the Indian bowlers across all three matches played so far in the T20 series against South Africa has heightened Team India’s concerns, sending a clear signal that the bowling unit could pose a significant challenge for the team moving forward.
