On Monday, Australia Test captain Pat Cummins announced on social media that he had married his longtime partner Becky Boston. On July 29, the couple reportedly married at the Chateau Du Soleil, a French-inspired destination in Byron Bay, in the presence of their family and friends.
Cummins was congratulated by his Australia teammates, fellow cricketers, and the teams for which he plays. Albon Boston Cummins, the couple’s first child, was born in February 2020.

Cummins most recently appeared for Australia in a two-match Test series in Sri Lanka, which ended in a 1-1 tie. He took two wickets and scored 47 runs in the series. He has been the Australian Test team’s captain since November 2021, becoming the first fast bowler in the team’s history. In his first Test as captain, he led Australia to a 4-0 victory in the Ashes.
Australia is preparing for a busy home season this year, with Zimbabwe, New Zealand, the West Indies, England, and South Africa all scheduled to visit. They also host the T20 World Cup, which they won in the UAE last year.
