It was founded in 2015, when the Pakistan Cricket Board established the Pakistan Super League (PCB). The team’s home field is National Stadium. The Karachi Kings competes in the Pakistan Super League, the country’s version of the IPL. The gang’s headquarters are in Karachi, Sindh’s largest and capital city. The lion on the insignia is designed to represent Karachi’s uncompromising nature, with the words “Karachi Kings” printed in white and gold below it.
The Karachi Kings plays their home games at the National Stadium, the city’s fifth and Pakistan’s eleventh first-class stadium. Pakistan and India met at NSK on April 21-24, 1955, in what would become a watershed moment in Pakistan cricket history as the first-ever first-class match.

Achievements:
- The Karachi Kings were sold to the ARY media firm in 2015 for $26 million USD over ten years, making them the most expensive team in the tournament until 2017, when the Multan Sultans were sold to the same buyer for $4.16 million USD over ten years.
- Shahid Afridi has stayed spotless as a player and president after three matches. The experienced player grabbed three wickets, which contributed significantly to their third victory. Karachi Kings had defeated 50% of their opponents at the end of the third season. They finished third out of six teams.
- Ravi Bopara was named Player of the Tournament in the first season of the PSL.
