Multan Sultans Achievements:
- In the 2022 season, the Multan Sultans set a PSL record with 260 against the Quetta Gladiators at Lahore Cricket Ground, the second-highest total in PSL history. Multan scored 245 runs in 20 overs, their highest PSL total.
- Multan Sultans won nine of their 10 matches in the PSL 7 under Rizwan’s leadership.
- Multan Sultans finished fourth in the league stage in their first season, with six wins out of 10 matches, qualifying for the postseason. They defeated playoff contenders Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi to become South Punjab’s first champions.
- Mohammad Rizwan was named “Man of the Series” for his key contribution in the team’s victory. Since their existence, the Multan Sultans have made the playoffs every year.
- Multan Sultans have been dominant in HBL PSL 2020 under Shan Masood’s guidance. In ten games, they won six and lost only two. When, in fact, two games had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. They gained automatic postseason promotion as the top club in the PSL 2020 group stage.
