The game was impressive all 22 players contributed their best to win for the team but in the end, Australia managed to beat undefeated India at their home to lift the trophy for the sixth time.

Australian opener Travis Head due to his impactful inning of 137 runs was awarded as player of the game and Indian star batter Virat Kohli with had the most runs in the tournament became the third Indian player to end the tournament with player of the series award. In the slow pitch of Narendra Modi’s stadium Indian batters have struggled to score runs after being invited to bat by Pat Cummins and summed up at 240. In reply, after initial blows, Travis’s head handled the Australian inning with Labushagne and didn’t allow Indian bowlers who were great throughout the tournament to take a step forward in the game. Slowly both batters made a strong grip on the game and at the end, Glenn Maxwell finished it with a winning shot.

After the last dance which was in favor of Australia Twitter was overwhelmed by many personalities across the globe some were showing sympathy to the hosts and everyone was congratulating guests for their achievements.
