The Indian team complained about the travel schedule from Trinidad to Barbados after the second Test match against the West Indies and requested that no more late-night flights be planned.
At 11 p.m., the Indian team was supposed to leave Trinidad and get to Barbados at dawn. However, their flight didn’t leave until three in the morning, and it took them till 5:00 am to reach their destination.
In order to better prepare for their future journey, the management of the Indian squad has requested that they fly early in the morning rather than late at night.
India won the two-match Test series 1-0 since the last day of the second Test match could not be completed due to rain.

The second test finished in a draw, which meant the Indian team won the series because there was no action on the fifth day. Given that they were in a position from which they could have won, the Rohit Sharma-led side would have wanted to bowl at the West Indies.

A BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) official said, “They had left the hotel by 8:40 pm for the airport and had to wait for a long time at the airport. The team management has requested us to book a morning flight instead of late night flights as players want some rest post game. The BCCI has agreed to it and is planning to revise the next schedule.”
Senior players have requested a day off from training in Barbados from the Indian team management as a result.
