New Zealand Bowlers With Most Wickets: The New Zealand cricket team played their first international match in 1930 when they clashed against England in Christchurch in the red-ball game becoming the fifth country to play Test cricket. They played their maiden ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch. On 17 February 2005, The Kiwis made their debut in a T20 International with Australia at Eden Park, Auckland.

Tim Southee
Tim Southee has taken the most number of wickets for New Zealand. He has 765 wickets from 387 international matches. Of these, 380 are Test wickets, 221 ODIs, and 164 T20 Internationals. He has bowled at an economy of 4.01 and an average of 29.24. Making his international debut for the Black Caps in 2008, the right-arm medium pacer is still up and going.
Daniel Vettori
Arguably the best spinner in the history of New Zealand cricket, Daniel Vettori was a force to reckon with in his illustrious cricketing career from 1997 to 2015. He took 696 wickets including 361 scalps in Tests, 297 in One Day Internationals, and 38 in T20Is. He maintained an average of 32.43 and an economy of 3.13 in the 437 matches he played for New Zealand.
Trent Boult
The fast bowler has often proved to be a nightmare for opposing batters. He has taken 611 wickets in his international career with 317 dismissals in Tests, 211 in ODIs, and 83 in T20 Internationals. He represented the New Zealand Cricket team from 2011 to 2024 and bowled at an average of 25.60 and an economy of 3.75. The Kiwi appeared in 253 international matches.

Sir RJ Hadlee
Sir RJ Hadlee appeared in 201 matches for the Black Caps from 1973-1990. In his cricketing days, he took 589 international wickets including 431 in Tests and 158 in ODIs becoming one of the New Zealand bowlers with the most wickets. With an average of 22.10, the Kiwi boasts of an impeccable economy of 2.77.
Chris Cairns
Chris Cairns took 419 wickets in his 17-year-long international cricket career. He is one of the most successful New Zealand bowlers with 218 wickets in Tests and 201 in the 50-over format when he represented New Zealand from 1989 to 2006. The fast bowler has an average of 31.07 and an impressive economy of 3.92.
