From 2007 to 2014, he participated in five T20 World Cups, winning the championship with Sri Lanka in 2014. In 31 games, Mahela scored 1016 runs, including 6 half-centuries and 1 century. In addition, he has the record for the most boundaries scored (111) in the history of the T20 World Cup.

Chris Gayle has scored 965 runs in 33 matches in the T20 World Cup, and that too at a strike rate of 143. Gayle is known for his power-hitting and hitting long sixes. He also holds the record for hitting the most sixes. He has hit 63 sixes in the T20 World Cup. In the history of the T20 World Cup, he is the only player to have scored two centuries.

In T20 internationals, Rohit Sharma is the second-highest run-scorer in T20 internationals. Rohit Sharma is fourth among the T20 World Cup’s highest run scorers, despite having participated in all eight of them. In 39 games, he has amassed 963 runs at an average of 34.39, including nine half-centuries. During the 2022 T20 World Cup, Rohit will lead the Indian cricket team as captain.

  • Tillakaratne Dilshan

Tillakaratne Dilshan of Sri Lanka has an excellent record in the T20 World Cup. Dilshan, who ranks fifth among all run scorers in T20 World Cup history, is known for providing his squad with strong starts. With a peak score of 96*, he has scored 897 runs in 35 matches.
