
Michael Edward Killeen Hussey is an Australian cricket player who formerly participated in all forms of the sport. He is one of Australia’s all-time great batsmen in cricket. Hussey was born in Morley, Western Australia, on May 27, 1975. He played his debut game for Western Australia in 1995. He became a regular member of the state team in short order. In 2004, he was selected to play for Australia, and he went on to become one of the country’s top batsmen. His Test batting average of 51.52 is the third highest of any Australian, and in 79 Tests, he scored 6,235 runs.
Hussey scored 4,552 runs in 185 One Day International (ODI) matches. His 48.15 batting average in ODIs is second among all Australians.
