
Ruturaj Gaikwad, the opening batter for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), is slated to marry his fiance Utkarsha Pawar on June 3 after winning the IPL 2023 title.
Utkarsha, who was born on October 13, 1998, also played domestic cricket for Maharashtra.
Utkarsha, an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium-fast, has been playing cricket since the age of 11.

The 24-year-old from Pune, on the other hand, last played a game more than a year ago, against Punjab in a senior Women’s ODI Trophy game in November 2021.
She is now studying at the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS) in Pune.
Utkarsha attended the IPL 2023 final between the Chennai Super Kings and the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad was called up to the Indian side as a backup player for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia.
However, due to his nuptials, the 26-year-old pulled out and has been replaced by Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Ruturaj made his India debut in the T20I series against Sri Lanka in July 2021 and has since played nine T20Is and an ODI.
Recently, Gaikwad also played a crucial role for Chennai Super Kings in lifting their 5th IPL trophy by chasing a tough target of 171 in 15 overs, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway got the side off to a flying start, scoring 74 for the first wicket in only 39 deliveries.
Following Ruturaj’s ejection, CSK received multiple middle-order contributions, ending in a thrilling last-ball triumph.
The precocious Maharashtra kid had another amazing season, amassing 590 runs at an average of 42.14 and a strike rate of 147.50.
Ruturaj also helped CSK win the Orange Cap in 2021, scoring 635 runs at an average of 45.35 and a strike rate of 136.26.
