Max60 2025: Caribbean’s fast T20 format is back, know fixtures and timings
Great news for cricket fans, MAX60 cricket is back again. Last year in August 2024, when the first MAX60 tournament was held at Jimmy Powell Oval in the Cayman Islands, it was a new chapter for Caribbean cricket. This new format gave both speed and entertainment to the fans.

The first season was played between 5 teams, Caribbean Tigers, New York Strikers, Grand Cayman Jaguars, Miami Lions, and Boca Raton Trailblazers. This league also featured international stars like David Warner, Dwayne Bravo and Alex Hales. In the final, Caribbean Tigers won the championship, where Australian batsman Josh Brown surprised everyone by scoring 60 runs in just 18 balls.
This format not only created excitement but also gave international-level exposure to local talent. Cayman Islands cricketer Romeo Dunka, who was part of the winning team, said that playing with global players was a great opportunity for him. Such tournaments can also open the way for a professional career for local players.
Max60 2025: Season 2 returns
The Cayman Islands Cricket Association has officially announced the dates of Season 2. The new season will run from 17 July to 23 July 2025, and the venue will be the same – Jimmy Powell Oval. This time too, fans will get to see explosive cricket, in which both local and international players will take part.
