Despite being past his prime, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the most recognisable figure in Indian cricket and the IPL, having led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to four titles.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, on the other hand, continues to experiment with his duties off the field, thanks to his varied corporate endorsements. His most recent role addition to his stellar CV is that of a police officer. Dhoni, an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army, recently portrayed a cop in his current campaign.
The photograph instantly went viral on Twitter, leaving admirers wondering why the former Indian captain had dressed up as a cop for the campaign. Some of his supporters were quick to react as they branded him ‘Singham’.

MS Dhoni recently returned to Ranchi to meet with the Indian cricket team ahead of the first T20I against New Zealand. Dhoni will be back in action as the captain of the Super Kings in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League.
The four-time IPL champion captain will captain CSK in the upcoming T20 league season. He led CSK to four Indian Premier League victories in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021.
CSK paid a record Rs 16.25 crore in the IPL mini auction last year to add all-rounder Ben Stokes on their roster. With CSK’s bid, Ben Stokes matched Chris Morris’ mark and became the joint third-most expensive player in IPL auction history.
