It was his seventh Test double hundred, making him the Indian record holder. He also surpassed Don Bradman’s record for most 150-plus scores as a captain. India won in a commanding fashion by an innings and 137 runs. Kohli was part of key partnerships, including a 178-run partnership with Ajinkya Rahane and a 225-run partnership with Ravindra Jadeja.
