In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, the best fast bowler from the Indian cricket team, Jasprit Bumrah, achieved this incredible milestone in his international cricket career. He achieved this milestone by taking wickets in the semi-final match against the England cricket team, where he dismissed the English batsman Harry Brook.
By achieving this incredible milestone, Jasprit Bumrah has now become the 42nd bowler in the world and the 8th Indian cricketer to attain 500+ wickets in international cricket. With Jasprit Bumrah’s 500 wickets, the Indian team has registered another major record. India has now equaled Australia as bowlers with the most 500 or more wickets in international cricket. In international cricket history, eight bowlers each have taken 500 or more wickets for both teams.
In addition, seven bowlers from South Africa, four each from Pakistan and New Zealand, and three each from Sri Lanka, England, and the West Indies are included in this list. Shakib Al Hasan is the only player from Bangladesh on this list.
