He became the third Indian batsman to score the most centuries in a domestic season. He scored nine centuries in a total of 30 innings played in the 2024-25 season. Karun Nair, who scored the most centuries in the current domestic season, has performed brilliantly in all three formats. He has scored 860 runs with the help of four centuries and two half-centuries in the nine matches played so far in the Ranji Trophy. Currently, he is at the crease after scoring 132 runs against Kerala. At the same time, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, this batsman of Vidarbha scored 255 runs with the help of three half-centuries in six innings. Apart from this, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he scored 779 runs in eight innings of nine matches at a strike rate of 124.04. During this, Nair scored five centuries and one half-century. In this way, nine centuries were registered in his name in one season of domestic cricket.
