New BBL Rule Enables Pre-Signing of Overseas Players
As a result of a rule change implemented before BBL|13, every squad can pre-sign one player overseas before the actual draft. The rule guarantees the player remains for the whole season and finals, thus resolving the problem of player exits during mid-tournament.
Jamie Overton’s decision to remain for the whole BBL|15 season made him a suitable candidate for the Strikers’ pre-signing position.
