Irfan Pathan Dropped Rishabh Pant from His Ideal Indian Playing XI For T20 World Cup 2022

The former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan drops Rishabh Pant from his ideal Playing-11 of India which should appear in the T20 World Cup 2022.

The Ex-fast bowler of Indian team, Irfan Pathan picked up his ideal playing-11 of India for the T20 World Cup 2022. But the prime wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant missed out in his playing-11, as Dinesh Kartik replaced him as a wicketkeeper. The line-up designed by Irfan Pathan seemed to be highly identical with the team, which will appear in the T20 World Cup 2022. The only hesitation is regarding the position of Rishabh Pant in the Eleven because he is the only left-handed batter left in the squad.

Irfan Pathan has a different importance when it comes to  draw deep analysis of any cricketing aspect. He is considered as one of the finest analysis and cricket expert which the nation has at the moment. As Pathan didn’t kept the wiki Rishabh Pant in his team, the one disadvantage occurs that the X-factor spot vanished-off from the team. Though it is considerable that Rishabh pant is not in the top notch form currently, but he has the ability to bring the victory from the jaws of defeat.

The options of Ravindra Jadeja will create a big vacancy in the middle order so either Axar Patel or Pant should have to appear in the T20 World Cup. Also the approach of Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma wouldn’t allow it to happen, as both these looks to rely on the combination gameplay. Thus the most important thing will be to analyse the playing conditions and the strength of opposition to pick the proper plying XI for the Indian team.

After the dispersal of Ravindra Jadeja, it will become a compulsion to have at least one left-handed player in the batting order. So, Deepak Hooda or Dinesh Karthik will have to sit on the bench if Pant plays in the world T20.

While interacting with Star Sports Irfan Pathan said, “See, in my opinion, if you’re playing the first match, you need to have some experienced bowlers including one spinner. So, from the top, my playing 11 would be – Rohit, KL Rahul, number three – Virat (Kohli), number four – Suryakumar Yadav, number five – Deepak Hooda, number six – Hardik Pandya, number seven – Dinesh Karthik, number eight will be a right arm leg spinner so it would be (Yuzvendra) Chahal, 9 to 11, here there will be Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel and along with that you can go for Bhuvaneshwar Kumar”.

Later he added, “So, there will be a combination here, three fast bowlers out of which two are quality fast bowlers, who will be able to bowl at the death as well. And I will make sure that I have the combination and the liberty to choose from the three fast bowlers, even Arshdeep (Singh) to handle the death bowling So, in my opinion, in the playing 11, the spinner is clear, it’s just whether I can make space for Arshdeep in the team.”
