The Ireland Cricket Team competes in all formats of international cricket. This article discusses, in brief, the highest individual innings of Irish cricketers, who hold numerous records under their name.

In international cricket, the Ireland cricket team is the country’s representative of the people. The international team is administered by the Irish Cricket Union, which operates under the brand Cricket Ireland. Test, One-Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I) matches are the three main international games in which Ireland actively takes part. Ireland was promoted to Associate membership in the ICC in 1993, but they played their first full ODI in 2006 against England as part of their first victorious qualification.

The Ireland team qualified for the World Twenty20 tournaments in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2021 owing to further achievement in the shortest format. Ireland crushed Oman on February 22, 2022, winning the match and securing their place in the T20 World Cup 2022. Between 2005 and 2013, they won the tournament four times. They were called the “leading Associate” and expressed their intentions to join the ICC as a full member by 2020 as a result of their wins in the ICC Intercontinental Cup tournament and then further notable achievements at the World Cups of 2011 (England) and 2015 (West Indies and Zimbabwe).

They were granted Test status alongside Afghanistan on June 22, 2017, rendering them the position of the 11th Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the second Full Member from Europe.
