IPL 2025: In Match 62 of the IPL 2025, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced off at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 20.
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to bowl first. Yudhvir Singh got RR off to a strong start by dismissing Devon Conway, Urvil Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja early in the innings.
Ayush Mhatre (43) and Ravichandran Ashwin (13) were out before the 8th over, leaving CSK struggling at 78/5. However, Dewald Brevis (42) and Shivam Dube (39) built a solid partnership to steady the innings. Despite their efforts, MS Dhoni (16) couldn’t finish strongly, and CSK were limited to 187/8.

Apart from Yudhvir Singh, Akash Madhwal (3/29), Wanindu Hasaranga (1/27), and Tushar Deshpande (1/33) also took wickets for the Rajasthan Royals in the match.
In their chase, Yashasvi Jaiswal (36) gave Rajasthan Royals a strong start with his aggressive batting. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (57) and Sanju Samson (41) then played brilliantly to take control of the game, putting CSK on the back foot. Dhruv Jurel (31\*) and Shimron Hetmyer (12\*) finished off the chase, and Rajasthan Royals completed the target in 17.1 overs, winning by 6 wickets.
