IPL 2025: A video of Kuldeep Yadav slapping Rinku Singh after an IPL 2025 match is going viral on social media. This happened on Tuesday after Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs and kept their playoff hopes alive.
In this match, played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, KKR scored 204/9 while batting first. Rinku scored 36 runs in 25 balls with a strike rate of 144. In reply, DC could only make 190/9. Kuldeep did not take any wicket and gave away 27 runs in his three overs.

Rinku played well against Kuldeep
Out of Kuldeep’s 18 balls, 11 were to Rinku. Rinku scored 22 runs off those, hitting three fours and one six. Kuldeep couldn’t stop Rinku and his bowling looked weak.
Kuldeep slapped Rinku twice after the match
After the match, when players from both teams were meeting each other, Kuldeep slapped Rinku twice. It is not clear if it was just a joke or if Kuldeep was angry, but in the video, Rinku looked surprised after the first slap. Kuldeep then slapped him again.

Both players are from Uttar Pradesh
Kuldeep (Kanpur) and Rinku (Aligarh) both are from Uttar Pradesh and have played together in the state team for a long time. So, this could be just a friendly moment. But fans did not like Kuldeep’s action and said so on social media.
Fans reacted strongly
One fan wrote on X on Kuldeep slapping Rinku after IPL 2025 match, “Even if it is a joke, it doesn’t look funny. It shows no respect from one player to another.”
Another said, “Rinku did not look happy. He looked shocked. His face told everything. Kuldeep was out of form for a long time, Rohit Sharma gave him a chance, he should not act like a child now.”
Till now, neither Kuldeep nor Rinku have said anything about the video.
This incident between Kuldeep Yadav and Rinku Singh may be a joke, but such actions in front of everyone are not good. In a big event like IPL 2025, every action of players is watched closely, so they should behave carefully.
