1. Mohammad Azharuddin – ICC Champions Trophy 1998
Mohammad Azharuddin, one of the most successful captains of Indian cricket, played his 300th ODI match during the ICC Champions Trophy against Australia in Dhaka in 1998. The tournament was the first edition of the ICC Champions Trophy, then known as the Wills International Cup.
However, Azharuddin got out on zero without even opening his account in this historic match. He was sent to the pavilion by Australian bowler Damien Fleming by LBW. Despite this, the Indian team performed brilliantly in this match and defeated Australia by 44 runs.
2. Sachin Tendulkar – ICC Champions Trophy 2002

Sachin Tendulkar has played the most number of ODI matches (463). He played his 300th ODI match in the final of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy against Sri Lanka.
In this match, Sachin gave 36 runs in 8 overs in bowling, but could not take any wicket. In batting, he remained unbeaten by scoring 7 runs in 22 balls. However, due to rain, this match could not be completed and India and Sri Lanka were declared joint winners.

Rahul Dravid played the 300th ODI match of his career during the 2006 Champions Trophy against Australia in Mohali. In this historic innings, Dravid scored 52 runs, but the Indian team failed to win this match. His restrained innings helped the team reach 252 runs, but Australia achieved this target in 46 overs.

One of the most dangerous batsmen in Indian cricket, Yuvraj Singh, played his 300th ODI in the 2017 Champions Trophy semi-final against Bangladesh. Virat Kohli played his 300th ODI against New Zealand in the group stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He became the seventh player to achieve this feat for India.
