The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has declared a 15-member England team for the IND W vs ENG W Women’s ODI series, which is all set to kickstart from July 16, 2025. The three matches of the series will be played at Southampton, Lord’s, and Chester-le-Street.

Maia Bouchier Earns Recall After Warm-Up Game Century

Top-order batter Maia Bouchier has been brought back into the ODI team after a remarkable performance during the warm-up match against India on June 24, as she hit an unbeaten hundred. Bouchier, with 482 runs in 17 ODIs at a batting average of 37.07 and a strike rate of 106.87, is regarded as one of the important players for England’s batting order.

Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt Expected to Take Part

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt, who was ruled out of the last T20I against India because of a groin injury, will be fit and available for the entire ODI series. ECB announced she will play, stating:

“Captain Nat Sciver-Brunt is on track to play her full role in the series despite missing the final few IT20 matches with a groin injury.”

Pace Watch: Lauren Filer in Focus

The other major highlight of the England team is the comeback of Lauren Filer, who will look to feature in her first ODI since the Ashes series. Durham pace bowler, who averages 76 mph, made an impressive recent comeback with a match-turning spell at the Kia Oval. Her return adds more firepower to England’s fast-bowling unit.
