Fast bowler Megan Shutt laid the foundation for Australia’s big win in IND W vs AUS W 1st ODI. She gave away 19 runs without taking a wicket as she played a key role in bundling out the Indian team cheaply. Jemima Rodrigues, who was batting at number five for India, scored 23 runs from 42 balls.

The Indian team, which won the toss and came out to bat first, did not have a good start and lost the wickets of the openers in the first seven overs. Priya Punia (03), playing in place of Shafali Verma, who was dropped from the team, could not make her comeback memorable.
