The first T20 match between India and New Zealand is being played in Ranchi. The kiwis got off to a flying start in the match thanks to the explosive batting of Finn Allen and Devon Conway. They were batting at a run rate of around 10 after 4 overs, with no wickets. Washington Sundar, on the other hand, drew first blood by dismissing Allen.
Suryakumar Yadav caught Finn Allen on the second ball for Washington Sundar. With his pace and turn in the first three balls, he troubled new batsman Mark Chapman at the crease. Then he bowled the final ball straight, and Chapman played the ball into the air, where Sundar dived to catch it.
