Australia has always been one of the dominant sides in cricket. It is no different in the T20 format as well. The Men in Yellow clinched the T20 World Cup after 14 years of wait in 2021. They came into the tournament in light of form issues. However, they simply brushed aside all the concerns and set the stage on fire, in the big time.

All the top stars, Aaron Finch, David Warner, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Pat Cummins, are still a solid part of the team. They have played together for many years and the experience factor is a vital asset for the Kangaroos.
Australia in T20s: A stable force
Before the 2021 edition, the Aussies could not quite deliver big in the World Cup. This setback was despite winning the ICC Men’s World Cup for a record five times. The former world champions did not field the best eleven for the marquee event, as they lost several key players with injuries.

However, it is different this year. They have fielded one of the best teams for the event. Aussies have more chances as they gain home support, and they are primarily familiar with the pitch and the conditions. Form of Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell are the two areas of concern. However, the experience of these star players may help them to bounce back. If they don’t quite fire, Aussies have enough alternative options this time. Tim David is perhaps one name to look out for this year.
Can the Aussies win the T20 World Cup?
Most of the teams are coming up with their best possible eleven. This makes the journey to Australia a bit more challenging. However, they have a history of peaking at the correct time.

Aussies can certainly boast about the possibility of entering the semifinals. However, after the semifinals, everything is all about how they adapt to the game.
