‘I Will Break Record Of Umran Malik’s Fastest Ball In PSL’ Believes Pakistan’s Rookie Pacer

While Umran Malik’s thunderbolts have been the talk of the town in India, he has also acquired enormous fame over the border in a country known for producing world-class pacers.

Umran Malik’s career trajectory has accelerated since making his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Jammu and Kashmir cricketer has been dubbed “India’s latest pace sensation,” and his blistering pace has already set a new standard. Umran hit 156 kph on the speed gun in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, which India won 3-0, making him the fastest Indian pacer.

Despite his speed, Umran has been somewhat pricey, as evidenced by his early days. However, with such strong support, Umran is gradually developing into a valuable weapon for the Men in Blue and might be driving the pace attack in the coming days.

While Umran’s thunderbolts have been the talk of the town in India, he has also acquired enormous fame over the border in a country known for producing world-class pacers. Pakistan’s rising pacer Zaman Khan, who also plays for Lahore Qalandars, made a big assertion lately, equating his bowling to that of the Indian. In addition, he made the startling claim of breaking Umran’s record in the forthcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL), which begins on February 13.

“If you talk about pace… I don’t really care about pace. I care about performances. It’s the performance that matters. Your pace is natural to you,” Zaman had told local media during in an interaction, posted by paktv.tv on their YouTube channel.

Umran, on the other hand, has played in both white-ball formats for India. He has played 8 ODIs and the same number of T20Is, taking 24 wickets.
