Pakistan had lost the first test match by a huge margin of 360 runs and despite that skipper, Shan Masood and former captain, Babar Azam led the sharing of gift baskets. The kids of Australian cricketers were gifted candies and lollipops.
The video which was posted as a gesture of friendship between the two sides was not met with the same gesture. Former Australian cricketer, Kerry O’Keefe in a conversation with Michael Vaughan took a dig at the visitor’s gesture and called it “too pleasant.”
O’Keefe said, “This Test series is being played in the best of spirits. You cannot beat Australia playing in the best of the spirits. They gave them Christmas presents yesterday. Would Sourav Ganguly have arrived with Christmas presents for Steve Waugh? No. You got to play fiercely against the Aussies. You got to have a spine. This is too pleasant.” In reply, Vaughan said, “You can’t bring Christmas presents.”

MS Dhoni celebrates Christmas with Pant
On Monday, December 25, former Indian captain MS Dhoni celebrated Christmas with his family and friends. Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper and batsman, was also present.
