Get complete information about the biography, records, achievements and statistics of Harry Tector. Also, know more about his net worth, wife and career.

Harry Tector, raised in a cricketing family whose brothers Jack and Tim led Ireland at U19 World Cups, has subtly racked up an impressive record with the senior team since securing a berth in the post-Covid period. In 2020, Tector, who had only played three ODIs prior, scored an impressive 29 runs off 26 balls to help his team beat the opposition’s 329 total with one ball remaining. Although Tector’s poise brought hope that Ireland may have discovered a remedy for the middle-order problems that had plagued them after numerous retirements around the close of the 2010s, Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie’s hundreds may have garnered more attention on the day.

Tector demonstrated that he performs better on a bigger stage after scoring a streak of 20s and 30s against weaker competition in July 2021, when he scored 79 off 68 balls to help Ireland defeat South Africa in an ODI for the first time. He hasn’t looked back since, scoring three fifties in Jamaica to support the ODI team in beating the West Indies to open 2022. He hit seven scores of at least 50 during a nine-ODI stretch that included two hundred against New Zealand. He also scored an unbeaten 64 off 33 balls during a rain shortened Twenty20 match against India at Malahide in between whiles. Tector is one of the few Ireland cricketers who can draw interest on the T20 franchise circuit because of his growing reputation as a valuable T20 player. In the CPL in 2022, he obtained a contract with the Barbados Royals.
