As the T20 World Cup 2024 came to an end, BCCI, the pinnacle cricket board of India started thinking and planning about the next big step for Indian men’s cricket team. The End of an Era:
It is important to note the recent head coach Rahul Dravid took charge in November 2021 and has brilliantly led the team with full determination and patience both in victories and losses. The deal was renewed in the wake of the 2023 ODI World Cup, and its terms are to expire at the end of the T20 World Cup scheduled for June next year. This is now being compounded by the fact that under his leadership, the team has grown to a competitive level, but due to his decision not to go for another tenure to lead BCCI a successor has again been compelled to look for.
