The eminent IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad picked up ‘Brian Lara’ as their head coach for the further IPL seasons as the former head coach VVS Laxman was promoted to the presidency of National Cricket Academy. It is a big move from Hyderabad as it will change the whole equation in their dressing room because Brian Lara has a very weird coaching style as his closets told the media many times before.
In the sphere of IPL franchises, Kolkata Knight Riders also replaced their head coach Brendon McCullum from the eminent domestic cricket coach Chandrakant Pandit a few weeks before, so it will be interesting to see how these two franchises will operate in the upcoming IPL editions. Brian Lara was the former captain of the West Indies cricket team and counted as one of the greatest cricketers ever born and established on the platform of world cricket.
He was himself an aggressive batsman in all formats of the game so the dynamics of the T20 cricket is perceived by him very well because a coach has to be a good player in the specific format for which the team is going to appoint him. In the context of Sunrisers Hyderabad, under the coaching of Tom Moody the team was at the peak of their performance but after his removal from the position the franchise couldn’t do any significant thing in their IPL journeys of past couple of editions.
Thus below is the official Tweet from the Twitter handle of Sunrisers Hyderabad where they gave this highly enthusiastic news to their fans and followers.
