Arriving in England on a Saturday morning, Ashutosh Sharma emerged onto the field later that night and gave an unforgettable Wigan Cricket Club debut. Playing against Formby Cricket Club, the flashy right-hander clubbed a century in 70 balls before going on to score 100 off 73.
Batting at position 5, Ashutosh walked in with the team reeling at 17/3. He changed the complexion of the game with a stunning 153-run association with opener Aveen Dalugod. His knock comprised 8 fours and 6 sixes with a strike rate of 136.99.
