In his early years of international cricket, Irfan Pathan, a native of Baroda, Gujarat, was thought to be India’s best all-rounder after Kapil Dev. When Irfan was at his peak, he created trouble for practically all of the batsmen. Irfan swung the ball both ways, basing his style on Pakistan’s maestro of swing, Wasim Akram. Irfan was essential to India’s victory in the 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa. In the final game versus Pakistan, he was named Man of the Match.

At CAP, Irfan has the title of Director. Irfan supports CAP with his skills and knowledge. Numerous CAP students clearly benefit from his coaching.

Yusuf Pathan

In both domestic and international cricket, Yusuf Pathan developed a reputation as one of the most aggressive strikers. Yusuf is a typical batsman in the lower middle order with the extraordinary ability to carry the innings forward in the slog overs by clearing the ropes. After Irfan, Irfan’s older brother Yusuf Pathan made his debut abroad. Yusuf made his T20 World Cup debut against Pakistan in the championship match in 2007. Even better, he was a member of the Indian team that won the 2011 ODI World Cup.

At CAP, Yusuf also serves as the Director. For all budding cricket players, Yusuf is the ideal mentor and advisor and he carries with him priceless knowledge. He has won 16 IPL Man of the Match honours, is a three-time IPL champion, and owns the record for the fastest Indian century in IPL history.

The managing director of CAP, Harmeet Vasdev, has over 16 years of experience in sports management. One of India’s biggest sports management companies, Shadow Sports, counts him as a managing partner. He has established close ties with many worldwide Cricket Boards as well as other significant figures in the Indian and worldwide cricket sectors. Harmeet had a significant role in the conception and implementation of the CAP idea.

Technology at CAP

PitchVision

PitchVision, a cutting-edge cricket instruction tool with a UK foundation, powers every CAP facility. In order to examine and analyse techniques, body position, and pace, line, length, bounce, deviation, and tempo are all captured for usage in videos and data tables that all stakeholders may readily access. This technology allows the Pathan brothers and the cricket coaches to monitor the pupils’ development and also opens a line of communication with the parents of the wards via a mobile phone app.

StanceBeam

All CAP students have access to this state-of-the-art technological tool, which enables them to collaborate with the coaches in real-time. Coaches can access the programme, which records practice sessions, captures instructional videos, registers swing data for students and provides real-time course correction. The “StanceBeam Striker” smart cricket bat sensor, which offers useful stats and insights, helps students perform better.

CAP Mobile App

With the help of this internal software, the managers and coaches can stay updated about regular activities. All interested parties can easily generate and access data on notifications, comments, performance assessments, payment history, and attendance. To ensure ongoing progress during the pandemic, virtual sessions are currently being held.
