Congratulating the winners and all the other players from the tournament, former cricketer Mamatha Maben thanked the organisers for providing the platform to deaf cricket. She said, “These tournaments are proof that women’s cricket in India is supporting inclusion & diversity & tremendously showcasing the incredible talent pool available across our country which can mainstream in future.”

Mumbai entered the championship round with a perfect league record. In the semifinal match, Chandigarh overcame unbeaten Delhi. Mumbai chose to bat first after winning the toss. Needa Shaikh’s early dismissal was a crucial turning point in the match. Needa was in excellent form and had won four straight Player of the Match accolades. Mumbai scored 74, which was a respectable total.

Because of Neha’s outstanding performance, Mumbai’s hopes of winning the championship for the third time in a row were dashed. The best innings in this tournament have come from a variety of batters, but Neha’s performance under pressure stands out. She pursued the total down on her own and assisted Chandigarh in winning their first championship.
