After its impressive win in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Team India received the Champions Trophy 2025 cash prize of INR 58 Crore from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). This cash prize will be distributed amongst the players, coaching and support staff, and the Men’s Selection Committee. They will all get a share for their superb contribution to the team’s success.

With Rohit Sharma at the helm, Team India displayed a fantastic brand of cricket and finished the event with an unbeaten record. India was impressive in their group games, beating Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand. In the semifinals, Team India faced significant challenges against Australia but persevered to win.
India then reconciled with New Zealand from the group games in the Final and again, had to call on their resilient approach to win the Champions Trophy with a four-wicket victory; India’s second successive Champions Trophy championship.
Glorious Achievement
India’s display at the Champions Trophy 2025 was outstanding. Their campaign kicked off with a convincing six-wicket victory over Bangladesh, followed by another six-wicket win against Pakistan.
They then registered both another six-wicket victory against New Zealand, and a comfortable 44-run win, in the respective matches. In the semifinals, they showed their nerves of steel when they beat Australia by four wickets, to reach the finals.

The final will keep cricket fans on the edge of their seat as India faced New Zealand and won thanks to a well-rounded team performance and some smart captaincy from Rohit Sharma.
BCCI Declares Champions Trophy 2025 Cash Prize INR 58 Crore
In recognition of their remarkable achievement, the BCCI has announced a vast cash prize of INR 58 Crore certain to be disbursed to the winning contingent.
This prize money will be divided amongst the players, coaching staff, and members of the Men’s Selection Committee, who all contributed to India’s success on the world stage.
BCCI President Roger Binny displayed pride in the team’s performance, declaring, “Winning the ICC title in consecutive years is incredible and this award is recognition of the hard work and excellence of Team India. This achievement, alongside the previous success of the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup, is a true reflection of the strength and depth of the cricket ecosystem in India.”
Previous Rewards and Achievements
In addition to the INR 58 Crore cash prize, India also secured nearly Rs 20 crore ($2.24 million) in official prize money with their Champions Trophy 2025 triumph. New Zealand, who finished second, would take home $1.12 million (Rs. 9.72 crore) in prize money.
