Breaking News : Sachin Tendulkar to captain the Indian team once again in the Legends League tournament

The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will once again lead the Indian legends team in the Unacademy Road Safety World Series, which is an initiative sponsored by the Ed-tech giant Unacademy to spread awareness about road safety and traffic regulations in the highly populated countries like India.

In the previous edition of Legends League Cricket i.e Road Safety World Series, the side of Indian legends won the whole tournament after defeating Sri Lankan legends in the final, but at that time all the teams except India had weak squads, so this time it will be interesting to see that how intrigue and difficult the tournament will for the home team, as the opposition sides look strong as compared to previous season.

Virendra Sehwag was the highest run getter from the Indian side in the tournament and the opening pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Sehwag, also made the record of highest opening partnership ever made in the history of the championship. On this occasion the minister of road transportation, Nitin Gadkari said about the tournament that, “The Road Safety World Series is a very good initiative to create awareness towards road safety through cricket”.

Later he added, “We want every individual in this country to be aware and obey every rules and regulations while on the road and for that to happen, we have to create awareness among the people, I strongly believe that this series will be able to do and achieve the goal of saving lives on Indian roads”.
