BPL Records and Statistics – Team Records for Smallest Victories by Wickets

In the 2013 Bangladesh Premier League, the Barisal Burners and the Sylhet Royals match was among the most thrilling. Sylhet Royals won by a margin of one wicket.

Bangladesh has a professional Twenty20 cricket league called the Bangladesh Premier League. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) made it happen in 2011. The first tournament was in 2012, and the 2021 season, which ended on May 17, 2021, was the most recent one. The 2022 event will likely happen in the year’s second half. There have been eight tournaments, and the Rangpur Riders have won the title four times, making them the most successful team. In cricket, the team batting must be down to its last wicket to win by a small margin. This can be stressful for both the players and the fans. During a chase, it’s hard to be the last person standing or the last wicket standing. These are the games that were won by only a few wickets. Most of the time, there is one wicket left and the final wicket. When the last person up to bat got out, the game was over. In BPL T20I, the team’s last wicket is also a record.

Here are the top teams that have won the fewest wickets to win a match:

Barisal Burners vs. Sylhet Royals Sylhet Royals 1 wicket Paul Stirling  13 February 2013
Rangpur Riders vs Chittagong Vikings Rangpur Riders 2 wickets Misbah-ul-Haq 22 November 2015
