Cricket fans in Greater Noida have a big reason to celebrate, as the Big Cricket League (BCL), the world’s first Pro-Am cricket league, is all set to return with its second season. The matches will be played at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium, Greater Noida.
Season 2 will run from 11th March to 22nd March 2026. During these days, the city will witness high-quality Pro-Am cricket featuring a mix of global professionals and rising amateur players from India.
After receiving strong appreciation for Season 1, the league is coming back with more scale and stronger competition. The concept of the league remains unique: international cricketers playing alongside talented amateur players, creating a platform where performance and opportunity go hand in hand.
The player auction scheduled for 16th February 2026 is expected to generate strong interest. Franchises will build their teams by combining experienced international players with skilled amateur cricketers.

Season 1 featured well-known names such as Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Herschelle Gibbs and Imran Tahir. Their involvement added credibility and excitement to the tournament. Season 2 is expected to go a step further, with more international participation and greater fan engagement.
