Reflecting on his batting position, Rinku Singh highlighted his familiarity with playing at number five or six, stating, “I have been playing for UP since 2013 at number five or six. So, I have got used to that position. I keep backing myself to play in that position because it is very tough to play in that position if four wickets are down.”

As he prepares for his first cricket experience in South Africa, Rinku noted the extra bounce in the nets and expressed his intention to use the pace of the pitches. Acknowledging the significance of camaraderie, he mentioned spending time with teammates and the importance of fitness in the sport.

“We enjoy each other’s company, which is very important in cricket. I used to take care of my fitness and fast running levels from the starting days, and as you grow in the sport, it’s important to take care of your fitness,” Rinku added.
