Mohommad Ashraful
Mohammad Ashraful is a left-handed batter and slow left-arm orthodox bowler from Dhaka. Rafique created his One-Day International breakthrough in 1995 against India in Sharjah. He played in 123 One-Day Internationals and managed to score nearly 1200 runs until 2007. Mohammad Ashraful came back to the pavilion 16 times without scoring a run, placing him first among the top five Bangladeshi batsmen with the most Ducks in the TEST cricket format.
Mashrafe Mortaza
Mashrafe Mortaza, a veteran Bangladesh captain and one of the country’s most loved and respected and prominent figures, is next on the list. Mortaza made his One-Day International debut against Zimbabwe in Chattogram in 2001 and managed to remain with the team until 2020. He played in 218 games and went 156 innings without scoring 12 times, placing him second among the top five Bangladeshi batsmen with the most Ducks in the TEST cricket format.
Mushfiqur Rahim
Bangladesh’s veteran captain and right-handed wicketkeeper batter from Bogra. Rahim has been a fixture in the Bangladesh ODI team since his breakthrough performance against Zimbabwe in Harare in 2006, appearing in 236 games. In 221 innings, he has over 6700 runs scored and 12 ducks, placing him third among the top 5 Bangladeshi batsmen with the most ducks in the TEST cricket format.
Mahmudullah
On July 9, 2009, Mahmudullah made his Test debut against the West Indies, kicking off his career in whites with a bang. He continued to struggle with the bat but had the finest bowling statistics for a debutant from Bangladesh. He ended up taking eight wickets in the match, which included a five-wicket haul in the second innings, to assist Bangladesh win their first international match. Mahmudullah has returned to the pavilion 11 times without scoring a run, placing him fourth among the top five Bangladeshi batsmen with the most Ducks in the TEST cricket format.
Tamim Iqbal
Tamim Iqbal is a left-handed opening batter from Chittagong who is regarded as one of Bangladesh’s best. Tamim made his debut for Bangladesh in a one-day international against Zimbabwe in Harare in 2007. He had played in 237 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) until 2022, having scored over 8000 runs and recording 11 ducks, ranking him fifth among Bangladeshi batsmen with the most ducks in the TEST cricket format.
