Richa Ghosh, India’s wicketkeeper, has shared her thoughts on the semi-final match versus Australia. Ghosh strikes a confident attitude and predicts that India would target Australia’s weaknesses in the match. The game begins today at 6:30 p.m.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is coming to a conclusion, with semi-final matches starting today. India and Australia will compete for a place in the final at the Newlands Cricket Stadium. While both sides have enjoyed a fantastic World Cup so far, nothing matters at this point because it is the ultimate showdown. With no room for error, both teams will want to seize control of the encounter from the start.
To address this, Richa Ghosh, who has played a significant role in India’s victories, appeared in front of the media on the day of the match to provide a sneak glimpse into India’s game plan. Richa claims that India would attack from the start, but she also claims that the team is mindful of Australia’s threat.
“We know the weak spot of Australia and we are planning against it but I will not say what that (weakness) is because then they will come prepared.” She also said, “They attack a lot. So, whatever happens to them, even if the batter is out, they don’t leave the attacking. Because they have batters from top to bottom. We also have batter from top to bottom. So, we will play an attacking game.”
