Former Australian legend Adam Gilchrist holds the record for the fastest test hundred for his country. It came in 2006 against England in Perth, when he scored a 57-ball ton in Australia’s second innings and made 102 not out.
Australia made 244 and 527/4d in two innings and dismissed England for 215 and 350 runs to win the match by 206 runs. The opener became the Australian batter with fastest test hundred.

Jack Gregory (67 balls) vs South Africa in 1921
Jack Gregory made the second-fastest test hundred for Australia way back in November 1921 against South Africa at Johannesburg. His ton came off 67 balls.
Batting first, Australia made 450 runs with Gregory scoring 119 runs and skipper Herbie Collins notched up 203 runs. South Africa made 243 and 472/8d in two innings, and the game ended in a draw.
3. David Warner (69 balls) vs India in 2012
David Warner has three fastest test hundreds for his country. He smashed a 69-ball test hundred against India in Perth in 2012, which is the third fastest for an Australian batter. Warner scored 180 runs in the only inning he played.
India made 161 and 171 runs in two innings, while Australia scored 369 runs to win the match by an inning and 37 runs.

David Warner (78 balls) vs Pakistan in 2017
David Warner also holds the record for the fourth-fastest test hundred for his country. He slammed a 78-ball ton against Pakistan in January 2017 in Sydney. Australia scored 538/8d and 241/2d in two innings, and Pakistan made 315 and 244 in their two innings. Warner scored 113 and 55 runs in two innings of the game. Australia won that match by 220 runs.

5. David Warner (82 balls) vs West Indies in 2016
David Warner smashed the fifth-fastest test hundred for Australia. He scored an 82-ball century against the West Indies in January 2016 at Sydney Cricket Ground. West Indies posted 330 runs in the first inning. In reply, Australia was at 176/2 when the game ended in a draw. Warner scored an uneaten 122 in that game.
