The former Indian opener Robin Uthappa put his opinion on the placement of Arshdeep Singh and Deepak Chahar in the upcoming three match T20I series against Australia, according to Uthappa Arshdeep Singh and Deepak will play assistant roles with the kingpin Jasprit bumrah and if this three face attack get successful in the whole series then it will probably appear in the T20 World Cup 2022 for the Indian team.
As per Robin Uthappa, Harshal Patel won’t be a part as Arshdeep Singh will probably replace him in this two series against Australia and South Africa and if he performance well then also in the T20 World Cup 2022, Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah are making come back after a long sustaining injury and their inform rhythm is very important for the Indian side.
So while interacting with EspnCricinfo Robin Uthappa said, “He will bowl three in the top six and then one in the middle or towards the death. But I feel so that we will have Harshal and Bumrah predominantly bowling in the death. And he will play maybe to the tail end or just before the death overs he will bowl that one over or in case you want a wicket in the middle overs”.
Later he added, “So, I think that’s how they’re going to use him. I think they will go with five fast bowlers anyways and I think Arshdeep and Deepak Chahar will be the other two outside of Bumrah, Bhuvi and Harshal. And Hardik plays as the sixth fast bowler”.
