The former Indian captain Kapil Dev showed slight doubt over the 100% chances of India’s win against Pakistan in their first game of the Asia Cup 2022, the team India is going to lock horns against their arch-nemesis Pakistan on Sunday, August 28. When these two teams met last time in the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan handed over a big defeat to India by 10 wickets which became a benefit of doubt that is currently going in the favour of Pakistan as the pre match predictions are prevailing everywhere.
But, the Pakistan side got a couple of blows before the start of the tournament, as their star pacers like Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Wasim jr. will not be present for the match against India and the rest of the bowling unit of Pakistan seem to be quite inexperienced in comparison with India. So as per the numbers and current circumstances Indian team have brighter chances to win this game on the positive note, but it is hard to predict anything in this high voltage encounter.

Which is what the former World Cup winning captain of India, Kapil Dev said in his recent interview, that, “You can’t be sure about anything in T20. You can predict to some extent in ODIs and Tests, but it is very difficult to predict in T20s. I will say that our team has experience and they are better, but we were better last time as well”.

“They played better than us. So, it’s quite difficult to say anything. Still, if you go into stats and players, Indian team is far better. But it all depends on how the side plays on that particular day,” Kapil Dev concluded.
