#1. Ab de Villiers (SA).

The South African great AB de Villiers announced his retirement at very minor retiring age of 34, no one can imagine that a genius player like him would retire so early from his international cricket career, just after his retirement the another batter of South African cricket Fab du plessis started to lose his momentum and eventually get out of the consideration of South African team management. De Villiers played 114 test matches, 228 ODI games and 78 T20I matches in the world cricket. 

 

#2. Andrew Flintoff (Eng).

The star all rounder of England cricket team, Andrew Flintoff get retired so early at the age of 31 which is not even the number to think about send-off when you are a player fitted in the prime role of your playing side, Flintoff was the hero of English cricket team and he played vital role in clinching the victory for England in the 2005 ashes series against Australia. The world cup winning captain of team Australia Michael Clarke also took pre retirement at the age of 34 where his batting form and his leadership achievements are both at its peak, Clarke helped Australia to clinch their fifth 50-over world cup victory in the year 2015 at their home soil. After playing the tournament he announced retirement from test and one day international in 2015 and unfortunately he considered out of the selection from the T20I team of Australia since 2010.

 

#4. Brendon McCullum (NZ).

The former captain of New Zealand Brendon McCullum also played for a short period as compared to the mega career of players which matches his skill set in world cricket, but still playing for a very short time, he had created a larger impact on the whole Cricket fraternity of the globe. In world cricket a decade before there were meagre openers and top order battera who used to play attacking cricket, and McCullum is one of those few names who achieved that flamboyance in the initial days of his modern day cricket.
