Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the tournament, he will have great responsibility on his shoulders as India got knocked off from Asia Cup recently. In the past edition of World T20, Indian team couldn’t even qualify for the semi-finals under Kohli’s captaincy So, hope that the fate will change this time under the leadership of a new face.

#2. Aaron Finch (Aus)

Australian captain Aaron Finch will lead the defending champions of T20 World Cup 2021 and he also has a majestic opportunity to sustain his victory in this edition, as Australians will play at their home conditions. Along with him other names like Steve Smith, David Warner and Pat Cummins will also be the prime players of the team.

#3. Jos Buttler (Eng)

Jos Buttler took over the leadership of England, after Eoin Morgan retired from international cricket a few months ago. Butler will captain the young side of England where the players like Phil Salt, Harry Brook and David Willey are picked up in the squad for the tournament.

Kane Williamson will as usually lead the team of New Zealand in the upcoming World T20. New Zealand was the runners up of the previous edition where they got defeated by Australia in the finals. So the expectation will stay high at this time from Williamson and his company.

#5. Babar Azam (Pak)

Disappointing Babar Azam will look to fulfil the thirst of winning of Pakistan in the upcoming World T20. In the finals of Asia Cup, Sri-Lanka clinically defeated Pakistan which broke their dream of winning a third title of the tournament. The leg spinner Shadab Khan will be the deputy skipper to assist Azam.

#6. Shakib Al Hasan (Ban)

Shakib Al Hasan was recently named as the T20I captain of the Bangladesh cricket team, after Nurul Hasan got ruled out from the T20 World cup. Though Shakib is a temporary captain, he still has a lot of experience of playing in the high voltage tournaments of ICC. So, the peak performance of Bangladesh at the world cricket can be expected to come in this championship.

#7. Temba Bavuma (SA)

Temba Bavuma will captain the most disappointing team of world cricket especially in the context of ICC tournaments., except the Champions Trophy of 1998. The Proteas always failed to grab any ICC event in their favour. A strong team will win the trophy in the T20 World Cup 2022.

#8. Mohammad Nabi (Afg)

The 37-year-old captain will have a very tough challenge in the initial group stage, as the stalwarts like England, New Zealand and Australia will look to defeat Afghanistan firstly. In comparison to group A group B is slightly weak but unfortunately this team was placed in the tough section.
