1. Ravichandran Ashwin
Since making his debut in 2011, he has claimed the most victims worldwide, and in the years 2015 and 2016, he was the top wicket-taker in Test matches. As a result of his success in Test cricket, he has lost form in limited-overs cricket and has degraded into a middling force. His batting is equally as effective as his off-spin bowling, and he is currently India’s number-six batsman of choice in Test matches. He has already made history with more than 2000 Test runs and close to 300 wickets, but based on his present performance, he is certain to reach even greater heights.
2. Kris Srikkanth
India’s first legend from Tamil Nadu was Kris Srikkanth. The flashy batter was well-liked by the audience and had the ability to cause significant harm at the top of the order. With Sunil Gavaskar’s calm and peaceful approach and his aggressive batting, the pair forged some legendary batting partnerships. Srikanth’s best period in cricket was the 1983 World Cup when his runs at the top of the order relieved India and helped to lay the groundwork for the country’s historic victory.
One of the most refined and classy batsmen in the world is Murali Vijay. Even wonderful are his drives. He shows the entire blade face while leaning on the front foot without making a single mistake. He was also in charge of Chennai Super Kings’ successful IPL run. His strong starts at the top led to the enormous scores for which CSK is renowned. He has now specialized in T20 after failing to repeat his limited-over heroics in ODI and T20.

4. Srinivas Venkataraghavan
Srinivas Venkataraghavan, an off-spinner who was endowed with a sharp mind and a powerful body, was a member of India’s renowned spin quartet. The off-spinner was renowned for effectively setting up the batsman and had lovely control of his variations. His sharp intelligence was essential to his success and also helped him become a leader. He served as the team’s vice-captain as they wrecked cricket throughout the world that year.
5. Robin Singh
In many ways, Robin Singh was ahead of his time. He played for India during a time when bowlers and batsmen were the only two positions in cricket and fielding was not regarded as a skill. With his agility in the field, Robin quickly established himself as the greatest Indian fielder, and his all-around abilities contributed to the team’s much-needed balance. Although he fell short of Kapil Dev’s standard for an all-rounder, Robin was a crucial part of the Indian side in the late 1990s. His best all-around effort came against Sri Lanka in 1997, when he hit a hundred and grabbed three wickets in four overs. In 1998, at Dhaka, his run-a-ball 82 helped India defeat Pakistan in a historic match.
